The Right Honorable Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Minister of Defense in World War II.
He was an amazing man in so many ways. He’s actually ranked 37 on Time’s list of the 100 Most Important Figures in history.
Churchill’s ability, in spite of troubling mental and emotional circumstances and life-or death stress, to continue moving forward is what we’ll focus on.
Churchill had bipolar disorder.
Although Churchill’s bipolar disorder is still being debated as a possible diagnosis, the majority of people believe that it was a bipolar disorder. Many historians who believe Churchill suffered from bipolar disorder attribute his achievements to mania.
Many people believe that if Churchill had not been such a grand and expansive figure, the British would not have found the motivation and inspiration to survive World War II.
